| The May Day 5K Walk & Run |
to everyone who joined me at the recent IGH May Day 5K Walk & Run on May 3. In spite of a cool, breezy day, we had a record number of registrations and over $30,000 was raised for scholarships for graduating seniors at Simley High School.In addition to legislative news and a survey, the webpage also contains information about my background and my family. It is an honor to serve the people of our area and the great state of Minnesota. Minnesota Off Road Cyclists
The MORC folks take great care of off-road cyling trails. An outstanding site with lots of trail locations, difficulty levels, and terrific photos. Just click on the photo of the trail in Salem Hills Park, which is one of Joe's favorites. Joe's advice: Make sure to check for ticks when you're done.

Whether you liked the Johan Santana trade or not, this new Twins lineup, especially the addition of Carlos Gomez, is certainly an exciting bunch to watch. If you aren't into the Twins, how about the St. Paul Saints?
